Ray literally had a bird’s eye view of the rapid changes in Southern California in the 1950s as he flew over the state, he could see Los Angeles’ explosive growth.

Ray began acquiring large parcels throughout Southern California in areas like Los Angeles, Kern and San Bernardino counties. He subdivided these parcels to make them available for individuals to purchase. With the profits he earned from those sales, he continued to purchase and subdivide more parcels. Ray knew the value and potential benefits of owning land and wanted to give others the opportunity to earn a better future for themselves and their families.
