Rosamond is an unincorporated town in Kern County, California, USA. It is located approximately 20 miles north of Palmdale, 11 miles north of Lancaster, and 13 miles south of Mojave, next to Edward Air Base. Rosamond is situated at an elevation of 2342 feet. Rosamond‘s population is about 18,000. Rosamond‘s economy has expanded its population as well in the last two decades. Aviation and Defense is one the major source of employment for Rosamond.
